You are warmly welcome to join us at the Imagination Club on Wednesday, 3 October at 18h45 for an interactive, experimental workshop on:Reaset: The Return of EaseBy Tom MeyersStress is a pain in the neck! Stress is a very pertinent topic of conversation and discussion and so it should be! It has become the most important contributor to physical and mental illnesses, work absenteeism and it interferes with our creativity, relationships, tolerance, general health and wellbeing. But that's not all! The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that depression (symptom of chronic stress) will be the most important cause of death by 2020. So one must ask the question: Why is stress such a pain in the neck? During this workshop Tom will take you on an informative and experimental journey to give you insights in the underlying discord between body and mind. The experience and insights gained will then be used as a basis to empower you to change the tide.
Tom is an osteopath but perfers to call himself a body-coach. He is the developer of "Reaset: The return of Ease". In his practice he noticed the positive effects body-work had on creativity, decision making, concentration, resilience and subjective well-being. His quest for answers led Tom to an unexpected insight that, unlike the saying mind over matter, there is in fact a more authoritative matter/body over mind aspect to health and wellbeing especially when the stress response is involved. Tom know shares his insights through his writing, presentations and workshops. More information on Tom's work can be found on www.biomotions.com A special thanks to UBI for donating
