You are warmly welcome to join us at the Imagination Club on Wednesday, 25 June 2014 at 18h45 for an interactive, experimental workshop on: What's Our Strategy ?By Yannick Bollati and Fabienne VloeberghenStrategy is a buzz word we hear all the time. What's our strategy? This project is strategic. Our strategy is growth. Etc. What is truly a business strategy? Is Strategy a power point presentation which is discussed once a year at the executive retreat? Michael Porter has a good definition, "Strategy is about making choices, trade-offs; it's about deliberately choosing to be different". Yannick personal definition is, "strategy is about turning a dream into a story and a story into a plan". So we can already conclude that many things we call strategies are not strategies.
In this experimental workshop, we will use practical tools to make a strategy. We will be the executive's team of the Imagination Club in charge of creating a strategy for the organisation and turning this strategy into an actionable strategic plan. About Yannick and FabienneYannick is an engineer, originally from France, who worked 15 years in international business consulting for the financial industry. He created Templay in 2008 to provide organization and strategy consulting for small and medium size business CEOs and managers. He currently works with clients from self employed independent business owners to banks and public administration. Fabienne is a Belgian who started her career as an English and Dutch
teacher before joining the European Commission where she worked for
more than 3 years. Since 1996, she has worked for Belgacom where she
is managing major telecommunication networks for national & international
corporate accounts. For the past four years has been in charge of Quality
in the Belgacom technical call centers for residential customers. Details
