You are warmly welcome to join us at the Imagination Club on Wednesday, 10 December 2014 at 18h45 for an interactive, experimental workshop on: All you ever wanted to know about Social Media but were afraid to askby Andy WhittleSocial Media is here to stay. Billions of people use it everyday, either to share every tiny little detail about their lives or as a marketing tool for corporations and small businesses alike who wish to reach out and communicate with their customers or potential customers. Would you like to know how you can use it as a tool to market yourself or simply embrace it safely as a fun thing without getting too caught up in it? This workshop will take you through the basics of Social Media generally and with Twitter specifically. We will experiment with interacting with others to see first hand the immediate effect you can have. This fun experiential workshop is for the curious, the absolute beginner, the seasoned professional who wishes to get more involved in Social Media and of course, anyone who has been using Social Media for a while and would like to share why and how they use it. Please bring your preferred gadget to access the Internet and be prepared to open a Twitter account if you don't already have one (only if you want to, no obligation)." About Andy Andy Whittle is an IT consultant and trainer who has worked with organisations such as Glaxo Klein Smith, Toyota, The European Commission, the Belgian government and others. He is also the co-founder of the Brussels Imagination Club where he runs regular workshops on all aspects of personal and professional self-improvement.
