You are warmly welcome to join us at the Imagination Club on Wednesday, 27 May 2015 at 18h45 for an interactive, experimental workshop on: Let's Go NutsGrains, Beans, Nuts and Seeds in AyurvedaBy Sinziana Voichita RaduWe eat to survive but we can also eat to be healthy. In an ideal world, grains (cereals) should form together with vegetables the basis of our diet. In small amounts beans are very nourishing and together with nuts and seeds they are a healthy source of protein and fat. This workshop is about Ayurvedic nutrition and simple concepts that can be adapted very easily to our occidental eating habits. We will look at a range of grains, beans, nuts and seeds and find out which of them fit to each type of person. Then we will see some ideas on how to prepare and serve them. Please note that this is a theoretical workshop with no cooking involved. However you will go home knowing which of them are the best for your particular metabolism and recipes to try out. About Sinziana Voichita RaduSinziana discovered Ayurveda during her trip to India. She was intrigued by the traditional approach of considering the body and soul as one and treating it in a holistic way. Since her return she decided to pursue her education and become naturopath and food councilor. Details
