When It Hits the Fan
By Jeroen Walravens
Brussels: 27 January 2016
Doesn't life seem to be marked (and shaped) by crises? Everything, from our relationships to our health and even professional endeavors, seems to be evolving progressively, just cruising, until ...
It's in these moments, when our house of cards comes tumbling down, that we're left with the best context for creation: a whole lot of nothing.
This workshop will show you how to take charge of even the most dire of circumstances, brought to you by an absolute expert in the field.
About Jeroen
When he woke up in 2007, after a month long coma, he was done for. With severe brain damage he could barely talk, couldn't stand, walk or even sit up straight; he was done for. The life he knew, the person he was, were but a vague memory. An anecdote he did remember, but had no real ties to. Everything he loved and the people he held dear became unattainable. The rehabilitation facility and his own dire state suddenly became all that existed in his world. As it became clear to him he had to start all over again he realized: he got to start all over again. The opportunity to invent a new life, to create an I 2.0 doesn't come round very often, and he wasn't about to let it slip by. Founded on a declaration of who he'd be and powered by a will to live, he came to a new understanding of difficulty, possibilities and self realization. Less than three years later he stood at Mount Everest Base Camp, making it his life mission to share his insights and give inspiration by telling his story. His book, Het is Altijd Nu, is being released by Houtekiet on 19 February.
