Virtual Workshop: Persuade With Presence Even When You’re Absent: the Art of Persuading and Connecting Online
By Carsten Wendt
On-Line: 27 May 2020
Can you inspire us in the virtual world? Can you move us to action through the camera? Can you persuade us online?
During the last eight weeks, Carsten has converted from sceptic to online speaking enthusiast as he qualified for the quarter finals of the World Championships of Online Public Speaking. What converted him? The experience that our speaking can be as powerful online as in 'reality'. And not only that. Virtual presentations have their very own opportunities. Why wouldn’t you grab them?
In this workshop, Carsten is going to share with you all that he has learned about the art of persuasion on-line. So, get ready to practice your online persuasion presence.
About Carsten
Carsten Wendt teaches the art of generous persuasion™. What is that? Inspired by ancient rhetoric, generous persuasion is public speaking with the right mindset: on the one hand, you define your speeches and presentations as an act of persuasion. On the other hand, you know that your success lies in being kind and generous towards your audience.
Carsten gives public speaking trainings for clients including banks, start-ups and manufacturing companies as well as European institutions, regulatory authorities, non-profits and associations. He also gives pitching and public speaking workshops at Universities, communication schools and conferences. Not least, he coaches people for the speech of their life on the big stage. His passion is always the same: helping you become the speaker your audience needs you to be.
